Aycock High School closed its doors almost a half-century ago but the historic school for
African-Americans has seen its colors restored at Moultry Park last week. Artist Mona Zimmerman painted tribute on the new restroom at the park which is located behind the former Aycock school off Baxter Street. The park is a project of the City of Rockdale.
